| On 25 March 2021, the UN General Assembly, at its plenary session, adopted by consensus resolution entitled "Cooperation between the UN and the OECD", co-facilitated by Slovakia and Spain.
This is the historically first resolution that institutionally enshrines the existing long-term cooperation between organizations. At the introduction of the resolution, the Permanent Representative of the Slovak Republic, Ambassador Michal Mlynár underlined its importance in strengthening the existing partnership between the two organizations, especially in the light of accelerating the pace of implementation of the 2030 Agenda objectives.
