| Today (September 27, 2021), State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Ingrid Brocková, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Slovak Republic, Adiyatwidi Adiwoso. During their farewell meeting, the State Secretary expressed her appreciation for the good level of bilateral relations between Slovakia and Indonesia and thanked the Ambassador for her past activities that were aimed at strengthening mutual relations. During their meeting, mutual interest was expressed in the further enhancement of the countries‘ bilateral relations, with special emphasis on economic cooperation.
"We are convinced that there is potential for intensified cooperation, particularly in the areas of science, research, cyber security, the defense industry, as well as the training and education of the armed forces of both countries," said the State Secreraty.
The State Secretary and the Ambassador also discussed the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and the current issues concerning the forthcoming G20 Presidency of the Republic of Indonesia in 2022 and of ASEAN in 2023. At the end of the meeting, Ingrid Brocková wished the Ambassador much success in the future.
