| On 11 January 2024, the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Juraj Blanár, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Byeongdo Lee, in Bratislava. The partners highlighted their strong interest in developing a mutually beneficial partnership while also discussing new opportunities for cooperation, particularly in the economic area.South Korea is the largest Asian investor in Slovakia. Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Byeongdo Lee informed the head of Slovak diplomacy about the continuation of significant investments not only in companies already established in Slovakia, but also in the form of new activities.
