| Helgeheim receives investment aid of 4.2 million euros for operations in Martin |

| The Helgeheim company will receive 4.2 million euros from the state in the form of income tax relief for the establishment of a facility in Martin focused on the production of vial pharmaceutical products. The company should invest almost 14.5 million euros and employ 72 people by the end of this year. This follows from the material that the government approved at an external meeting on Wednesday at the proposal of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic.
"The target production capacity will reach 25 million liquid and lyophilized units of dosage forms per year. These will be ISO 8362 vials of formats 2R to 50R, i.e. with a volume of four milliliters (ml) to 62 ml," the Ministry of Economy said. Medicines intended for application by healthcare professionals are sealed in glass vials. Their advantage is the safety of application and efficiency, because from one vial it is possible to administer the medicine to several patients without the risk of contamination.
The department added that the company plans to pay employees a gross salary of around 3,000 euros in the coming years, while the average salary in Martin was 1,462 euros in 2022. The planned job positions are machine and equipment operator in pharmaceutical production, quality control technician in chemical production, quality management specialist in chemical production, pharmacist - specialist in pharmaceutical technology, operator - QC microbiology and others.
