Harmonized inflation in Finland accelerated to nearly a 2-year high
Helsinky, 03.10.2025
The harmonized inflation rate in Finland recorded a slight acceleration in September, reaching its highest level in nearly two years. Preliminary data from the Finnish statistical office were published by RTTNews and tradingeconomics. Harmonized inflation in Finland reached 2.3% in September, compared to 2.2% in the previous month. September inflation is thus the highest since October 2023, when it was 2.4%. The increase was mainly driven by rising housing costs and the associated energy prices. In August, it was 1.07%, rising to 2.95% in September. Prices of food, non-alcoholic beverages, and tobacco products increased by 2.6%, and clothing and footwear prices also rose, although at a slower pace, specifically by 0.7%. On a month-on-month basis, consumer prices returned to growth in September, reaching 0.4% after declining by 0.3% in August compared to July.odkaz na stránku
