| MFA State Secretary Milan Ježovica received today the US
Ambassador-Designate Theodore Sedgwick who presented his credentials. At
the meeting Mr Ježovica expressed a conviction that the arrival of the new
Ambassador would create conditions for multilateral development of friendly
relations between Slovakia and the United States. The two diplomats agreed
upon a need to deepen bilateral cooperation particularly in economy,
including further support to the transfer of high-tech technologies from
the USA to Slovakia. They shared interest in continuing cooperation in the
fight against global security threats.
