| Shell Energy Europe BV, which is a division of Royal Dutch Shell plc's trade in natural gas, announced this month the top of their activities on the Slovak market. Shell has fulfilled all the requirements of the Slovak regulatory authorities for the granting of licenses for trade in natural gas. In order to begin selling gas to large customers at the end of this year, the company currently addresses the supply of potential industrial and large commercial customers.
The Director-General of Shell Energy Europe Charles Watson, in this context, said: "Slovakia is the nineteenth country in the order in which starting to develop our activities, and entrance to the market to reinforce Shell's position as a trader in natural gas with a wide scope. On the Czech market we bring our experiences from various countries in the world, the essential business values and principles and knowledge of the trade in natural gas throughout Europe. Czech customers, we offer a combination of our local experience in other business segments and a unique portfolio of diversified supply of natural gas. "
Shell Energy Europe begins with the action in the field of natural gas to Slovakia just a few months after the successful start of trading of gas in Austria. The establishment of the headquarters of the Central and Eastern Europe as the management center in Vienna underlines the importance of this region for Shell and is a natural continuation of the successful start of the sale of natural gas to Ukraine and Hungary in the last two years.
