| The Financial Administration is expanding registrations for income tax |

| The Financial Administration (FA) is expanding registrations ex officio for income tax to new groups of taxpayers. They will not be required to submit a form requesting registration, notify changes, or deregister to the tax administrator, which means less administrative burden and time savings. This was announced on Monday by FA spokesperson Daniel Kováč."The Financial Administration has been performing registrations ex officio based on legislative provisions since January 2023. This applies to individuals and legal entities that are recorded in the register of legal entities, entrepreneurs, and public authorities from source registers – the commercial register, trade license register, register of condominium owners and non-residential premises, and the land association register," the FA stated.At the same time, she clarified that last year, a total of 79,889 tax entities were registered ex officio, and from January 1 to the end of September 2025, it was 54,935. As of October 6 this year, the collection of data from the register of legal entities is also being extended to other source registers, such as the taxi service register, the financial advisors register, the hunting organizations register, the list of experts, the list of interpreters, the list of translators, and the register of natural persons in sports. "Data from these registers serve as a basis for the tax administrator to perform ex officio registration of another group of tax entities listed in the register of legal entities. For the mentioned tax entities, the obligation to submit the registration application form, notification of changes, and request for deregistration has been eliminated. For tax entities that are not listed in the register of legal entities in the above-mentioned source registers, the legislative obligation to submit a registration application to the locally competent tax administrator still applies," added FS.odkaz na stránku |
