| The process of administering and paying direct agricultural payments will be accelerated. This follows from the draft amendment to the government regulation from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic on the rules for providing support in agriculture in the form of direct payments, which was approved by the government on Wednesday.
"The aim of the proposal is to amend the relevant provisions of the government regulation establishing the rules for providing support in agriculture in the form of direct payments, in order to align national legislation with the notified amendment to the Strategic Plan of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) of the Slovak Republic for 2023 - 2027 and to specify the relevant provisions," the agricultural ministry explained.
The amendments focus on changes that increase legal certainty for farmers and accelerate the process of administering and paying direct payments. The proposed amendment concerns the amendment of the provision regulating the condition for support in the form of a whole-farm eco-scheme in relation to the sowing of unproductive areas with mixtures for pollinators, which provides for an exemption from this obligation, provided that this area does not exceed 0.01 ha.
Another amendment concerns the establishment of a uniform form of grazing records within the framework of support for pastoral farming. The proposed amendments are necessary to ensure legal certainty, the protection of farmers' rights and are a guarantee of the smooth, coherent and efficient functioning of the provision of support in the form of direct payments.odkaz na stránku |
