Prices in Croatia rose the most in March in about 2.5 years

Consumer prices in Croatia rose by almost 5% in March, the highest inflation in about 2.5 years, according to revised data published by the Croatian Statistical Office on Thursday. They confirmed the preliminary estimate from the end of March. The tradingeconomics server reported this. The annual inflation rate in Croatia reached 4.8% last month. This is a full percentage point more than in the previous month and the highest inflation since October 2023. The most significant increase was in housing and related energy costs. They increased by 11.1% after a 10.2% increase in the previous month. A sharp acceleration in growth was recorded in transport costs, which jumped by 7% after a 0.8% increase in February. The prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages also grew more significantly than in February. In February they increased by 2.9%, in March they increased by 3.3%. Consumer prices in Croatia also showed a significant acceleration in growth on a month-on-month basis. They increased by 1.4%, while in the previous month they increased by 0.3%. odkaz na stránku
